MEET THE AUTHOR

Arilita Moore was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At the young age of 15, teachers discovered that she had a way with words. She loved to write and had a way to rhyme words so that it expressed her feelings. Arilita a sick young woman who was home schooled most of her high school years. One of her teachers entered her in a contest for your writers where she wrote a poem about abortion: “Distraction of Life” for she won 1st prize. From there Arilita entered other contests and discovered she wanted to be a writer when she grew up. Now at 30, she is pursuing her long childhood dream.
